Tren Maya Intercity Train

It consists of a freight and passenger rail transport service that will connect the main cities and tourist areas of the Yucatan Peninsula, generating a greater economic flow, which will create job opportunities and distribute wealth throughout the peninsula, in addition to promoting a broader and more diversified tourism proposal, in which visitors will travel through the different communities of the region, which will attract more visitors and therefore, provide greater economic income in a larger territory, in addition to providing an offer of accessible public transport, insurance, with great territorial coverage and quality.

The Mayan Train is an unprecedented project, a strategic investment both for citizens (socioeconomic development) and for the country (integration of the territory and management of territorial policies), as well as for companies (development of economic activity with a strong commitment to the expansion and iversification of tourism and the consolidation of freight transport).
