Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) will be the first airport in Latin America with a rail connection at its terminal.
The rail branch will be an extension of the Suburban Railroad that currently operates between Buenavista and Cuautitlán, covering a 23-kilometer route with five intermediate stations.
It is planned to be put into operation in the second half of 2023 with a mixed investment of 25 billion pesos, of which 15 billion are from the private concessionaire and the rest is federal investment.
